Oilily

Together with graphic designer Marjan Peters at ‘8-13 grafisch ontwerpers’ I completely revamped Oilily’s magazine for their Fall-Winter 2009-2010 Shimmering Winter Walz collection. The magazine serves as a B-to-B marketing and sales tool, highlighting the brand’s unique positioning, key styles from the new collections and retail related news, so we firmly attuned the publication to Oilily’s core values, all the way to their atisanal multi technique adornments translating into a fancy multi technique cover with a tactile decorative prage over the photography. Next to pushing the magazine’s concept I was appointed editor in chief and wrote all it’s copy (in english). Little did we know that Oilily would file for bankrupcy shortly after the magazine was released, a killer set back for all of us, but we’re still proud of this job and hope the brand will make a smashing comeback now it’s original owners reclaimed the name.
